i made this piece when i was upset with someone for being unreasonable and completely unfair to me. i had said everything that there was to be said but was still frustrated until i found myself in my studio beginning to work on this. it flowed out of me in an intense wave and took shape before my eyes. the frustration and annoyance came right out of me and onto the canvas; i felt much better about the situation. as is so often the case with artists, i create as a visual response to the things i feel and experience. the pieces that mean the most to me are usually the ones that were the hardest to make or that i had the most intense experience in making.
